The PicoScope 5000E series is designed for high-precision measurement tasks and combines 16-bit resolution with high sampling rates and a wide dynamic range. These PC-based oscilloscopes offer four analog inputs, sampling rates up to 2.5 GS/s, very low inherent noise, and extensive analysis and trigger functions.
The series is ideal for development, embedded systems, power electronics, sensor technology, automotive applications, and scientific and industrial measurement tasks. In addition to classic oscilloscope functions, spectrum analysis, serial protocol decoding, mask testing, math channels, and an integrated function and arbitrary waveform generator are available. The MSO variants further expand the system with 16 digital channels.
Differences from the other models
The PicoScope 5463E is the 100 MHz model in the PicoScope 5000E series and is designed for users who need higher bandwidth than the 5462E offers without sacrificing high 16-bit precision. Compared to the 5462E, this model offers a higher bandwidth of 100 MHz as well as additional bandwidth filters. Compared to the 5464E, the maximum bandwidth is lower. Unlike the 5000E+ models, the 5463E supports only 16-bit mode and does not have an additional 8-bit high-speed mode.
