The PicoScope 5000E series comprises PC-based 16-bit oscilloscopes for precise analog measurements with high sampling rates. The series offers four analog channels, bandwidths of 60, 100, or 200 MHz, sampling rates up to 2.5 GS/s, a wide dynamic range of over 73 dB, and very low noise starting at 23 µV RMS.
Typical applications include development, troubleshooting, validation, and precise signal analysis in laboratories, service environments, and training facilities. Thanks to PicoScope 7, PicoLog 6, and PicoSDK, the series is suitable for both interactive measurements and automated test systems. MSO variants add 16 digital inputs to the analog channels.
Differences to the other variants
The PicoScope 5462E is the 60 MHz variant of the 5000E series with four analog channels and 16-bit resolution. Compared to the 5463E and 5464E, it offers a lower bandwidth, but the same basic architecture, memory size, and vertical precision. Compared to the 5000E+ models, it does not have an additional 8-bit mode with higher bandwidth and larger memory.
