The PicoScope 5000E series offers high-resolution 16-bit oscilloscopes for precise measurements in development, research, and industrial applications. The instruments combine high sampling rates of up to 2.5 GS/s with a very wide dynamic range and low inherent noise. This makes them particularly well-suited for demanding analog signal analysis.
The series’ feature set includes extensive trigger functions, FFT spectrum analysis, serial protocol decoding, DeepMeasure analysis, and integrated function and arbitrary waveform generators. The MSO models expand the analog inputs by an additional 16 digital channels, enabling the simultaneous analysis of analog and digital signals in embedded, automotive, and mixed-signal applications.
Differences from the other variants
The PicoScope 5462E MSO is the mixed-signal variant of the 5462E and combines four analog channels with an additional 16 digital inputs. With 60 MHz bandwidth and 16-bit resolution, the device is particularly suitable for precise mixed-signal measurements and embedded development.
Compared to the standard 5462E model, the MSO version offers additional digital inputs for the simultaneous analysis of logic and analog signals. Compared to the 5463E MSO and 5464E MSO, this instrument has a lower bandwidth of 60 MHz, but offers the same high vertical resolution and large memory capacity. Unlike the 5000E+ MSO variants, the 5462E MSO supports only 16-bit mode and does not feature the additional 8-bit high-speed mode.
