The 3765 Hall effect card in conjunction with the 3706A DAQ base unit with integrated DMM (digital multimeter) forms an economical Hall test system. Together with the "Keithley Hall Effect Test Suite" (KHETS) software, the Hall effect card can be easily connected to other Keithley devices such as DMMs, current sources and ammeters. The 3765 plug-in card is used to route test signals from the Hall sample to the measurement technology and to switch current from a source to the Hall sample. When used with the 3706A mainframe, it enables the measurement of Hall voltages of up to 50 nV with sampling resistances of more than 1012 Ω.
The 3765 card can be operated in either high-impedance or low-impedance mode. In high impedance mode, the input impedance is greater than 100 TΩ, the input bias current is less than 50 fA, and the output resistance is 10 kΩ. The input voltage range for both operating modes is -8 V to +8 V.
There is a trend in all sectors towards products with as many functions as possible. The more features a product has, th...
