Description

3740 | Switching module, 32-channel, insulated, 300 V / 2 A, 4 high-current channels 7 A

The 3740 switch card offers 28 general purpose Form C channels, which are ideal for routing power or other control devices. Four additional high current Form A channels are available for higher power applications up to 7A. If a measurement signal is to be routed to the 3706A series mainframe backplane, easily accessible terminal blocks are located on the plug-in module, which are activated with wire connections. For additional protection, an integrated temperature sensor signals whether the operating temperature of the card exceeds 70 °C to ensure system specifications are met.

The extensive portfolio of plug-in cards makes the 3706A data acquisition and switching system a very flexible and economical measurement solution. Up to six modules can be inserted into the basic device (mainframe) and thus configure it into a compact data logger, a fully-fledged measurement data acquisition system or a cost-efficient switching unit.
