The 3760 high current multiplexer has ten 2-pole channels and has 5A contacts. The circuit is designed to maintain current paths for signals unless they are connected to the output. If the internal jumper is removed, a high input resistance is provided for voltage measurements. The 3760 module is not connected to the 6 common buses on the 3706A backplane. Daisy chaining cards can be achieved by using one output channel. Applications for the High Current Multiplexer Card 3760 include semiconductor testing, measurements in materials research or for power supply testing, measurements on solar cells or in electrochemical applications as well as IC testing.
The extensive portfolio of plug-in cards makes the 3706A data acquisition and switching system a very flexible and economical measurement solution. Up to six modules can be inserted into the basic device (mainframe) and thus configure it into a compact data logger, a fully-fledged measurement data acquisition system or a cost-efficient switching unit.
