3732 | Quad 4X28 Reed Relay Matrix Card

Die Reedrelais-Matrixkarte 3732 in ultrahoher Dichte besteht aus vier Multiplexer-Bänken mit jeweils 4 Reihen und 28 Spalten und bietet damit 448 einpolige Koppelpunkte für maximale Anschlussvielfalt bei Anwendungen mit hoher Kanalzahl. Für noch größere Flexibilität sind Backplane-Relais vorhanden, um zwei zusätzliche Matrixkonfigurationen zu ermöglichen: eine 4x112-Bank und eine 4x56-Doppelbank. So lässt sich die Matrixgröße einfach an bestehende oder zukünftige Anwendungen anpassen. Für differentielle 2-Draht-Messungen kann ein zweipoliger Modus gewählt werden, der eine automatische Kopplung von Kreuzungspunkten ermöglicht und ein duales 4x28 oder eine einzelne 4x56 Konfiguration realisiert. Für größere Matrixanordnungen sind analoge Backplane-Relais vorgesehen, die den Anschluss von weiteren Reihen über die Mainframe-Backplane der Serie 3706A ermöglichen. Die maximale Bestückung eines Mainframes 3706A mit sechs Plug-in-Modulen 3732 ergibt eine Matrix von bis zu 4 Reihen à 672 Spalten.

Die Matrixkarte verwendet optimierte, langlebige Reed-Relais, die sowohl ein niedriges Kontaktpotenzial als auch einen geringen Strom-Offset bieten, um Schaltfehler zu minimieren. Zusätzlich bieten diese Relais einen größeren Dynamikbereich für Signalspannung (200 V) und -strom (1,2 A Carry) und unterstützt schnelle Schaltzeiten, die in vielen automatisierten Testanwendungen erforderlich sind.
