If you use a network analyzer to measure capacitance and equivalent series resistance (ESR) or a pure capacitance or DC resistance of an inductor (DC Resistance of an Inductor / DCR) etc., it is often necessary to preload the component to be tested or To lay module. This is the case with semiconductor capacitors (semiconductor junction capacities), varactors (capacitance diodes) and some ceramic capacitors such as the X5R.
