Manufacturer number: N2874A
The passive Keysight (formerly Agilent's electronic measurement technology) probe N2874A offers a bandwidth from 0 to 1.5 GHz and an attenuator of 10: 1 and is especially intended for use in measurement in fast digital circuits in order to be able to assess pulse edges. This probe requires a 50 Ω input from the oscilloscope. The small diameter of the probe tip of 2.5 mm, the small input capacity and the large number of accessories, especially for small pin spacings, make it ideal for measurements on ICs or surface-mount components (SMD). The sharp tip is designed with a spring so that it is held in the middle of an IC connector by a special insulated holder, which prevents a short circuit to neighboring IC pins. Special adapters for good ground contact are also available.
This probe is ideal for all Keysight InfiniiVision and Infiniium oscilloscopes (formerly Agilent's electronic measurement technology) with an input resistance of 50 Ω and is suitable for measurements on 50 Ω line systems or for measuring signal sources with very low internal resistance.
