The Keysight B2900C/CL Series comprises compact Precision Source/Measure Units (SMUs) that combine precise source and simultaneous current and voltage measurement in a single instrument. Specifically designed for accurate current-voltage (IV) measurements, these instruments are suitable for both laboratory and production environments. With their high measurement resolution, integrated four-quadrant source/measure functionality, and graphical user interface featuring a 4.3-inch color display, the Keysight B2900C/CL Series instruments enable efficient testing, debugging, and characterization tasks. They also support flexible sweep and arbitrary waveform functions, as well as SCPI commands for easy integration into automated test systems.

Keysight B2900C/CL Series instruments are used in numerous measurement and test applications requiring precise current and voltage sources and accurate measurement capabilities. Typical applications include IV characterization of semiconductors, discrete components, and electronic components, as well as materials testing. The wide voltage and current range allows for precise testing of both very low currents and higher power levels. Furthermore, the integrated sweep and arbitrary waveform functions enable flexible test sequences, such as for analyzing component responses to different electrical stimuli. The Keysight B2911C is a single-channel Precision Source/Measure Unit within the Keysight B2900C/CL series and offers exceptionally high resolution for precise low-current measurements. Compared to the Keysight B2901C, the B2911C is specifically optimized for very low-current applications and enables measurements down to the femtoampere range. Like the B2901C, the Keysight B2911C also belongs to the more powerful C variant of the series and offers extended functions compared to the CL models, including extensive sweep and arbitrary waveform functions with up to 100,000 steps and a correspondingly large number of storable measurement points. This makes the Keysight B2911C particularly suitable for demanding characterization tasks where extremely small currents need to be measured with high accuracy.
