Keysight B2900C/CL Series instruments are used in numerous measurement and test applications requiring precise current and voltage sources. Typical applications include IV characterization of semiconductors, testing of discrete electronic components, and materials analysis. The wide voltage and current range allows for precise measurement of both very small currents and higher power levels. Integrated sweep functions enable structured measurement sequences and assist users in analyzing the electrical properties of components under various test conditions. The Keysight B2910CL is a single-channel Precision Source/Measure Unit within the Keysight B2900C/CL series and belongs to the CL variant of the product family. The instrument is specifically optimized for applications requiring highly accurate measurement of very small currents. Compared to the more powerful Keysight B2911C, the Keysight B2910CL offers a reduced feature set and is designed for cost-effective standard measurements. While the C models in the series support extensive arbitrary waveform and list sweep functions with up to 100,000 steps and very short timing intervals, the B2910CL features simplified sweep functions with fewer steps and larger minimum timing intervals. Despite these differences, the Keysight B2910CL enables precise low-current measurements down to very small current ranges, thus providing an economical solution for basic characterization and testing tasks.
