D4000PWRB | Power supply test software for InfiniiVision 4000 X series oscilloscopes

Keysight's InfiniiVision 4000 X Series oscilloscope software package enables a wide range of automated measurements to characterize power supplies , including critical frequency response measurements such as: B. Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR) and control loop behavior. This package also enables hardware-based pass / fail mask testing and USB PD triggering and decoding.

Input measurements:

  • Network quality: active power, apparent power, reactive power, power factor, crest factor (V and I), phase angle
  • Current harmonics (based on IEC 61000-3-2 up to the 40th harmonic)
  • Inrush current

Circuit measurements:

  • Rds-on and Vce-sat
  • Switching losses (power and energy)
  • Rate of rise (dv / dt and di / dt)
  • Modulation (duty cycle, pulse width, period, frequency, etc., over time)

Output measurements:

  • Output ripple
  • Switch-on / switch-off time
  • Settling time
  • Efficiency

Frequency response measurements:

  • Power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) - Bode
  • Control loop response - Bode (automatically measures phase margin and gain margin)
