The PAC 17 AC / DC current clamp for oscilloscopes offers a high level of safety for the user, as the user is completely isolated from the circuit by enclosing the current conductor. The PAC17 uses the Hall effect to measure currents and thus enables uninterrupted measurement.
The end of the clamp is shaped like a hook, making it easier to pull out a conductor rod.
In conjunction with an oscilloscope, this isolated current transducer with its 2 measuring ranges can be used to display peak currents of up to 600 A DC with a bandwidth of up to 30 kHz. The current transformer has a simplified zero adjustment ZeroDC and a selectable switchover to standby mode.
