The DM309 module is a high voltage and current multiplexer for the modular DAQ3120 data logging system from B&K Precision. With up to 600 VDC or 400 VAC and 2 A current, it is the most powerful module in the series and ideal for applications where high electrical loads need to be measured accurately and safely. In addition to the 8 high voltage channels, the DM309 also offers two separate current measurement channels with integrated protection.
The DM309 is specially designed for demanding electrical tests where high voltages and currents occur. Typical applications include:
- Mains voltage and high current measurement
- Power electronics testing (e.g. inverters, power supply units, motor controllers)
- Safety and insulation tests
- Monitoring of power supply and charging infrastructures
Product features:
- 8 high voltage inputs + 2 current channels (up to 2 A)
- Maximum input voltage: 600 VDC / 400 Vrms
- Scan rate: Up to 60 channels per second
- Current measurement for AC and DC without external shunts
- Integrated fuses for both current channels
- Supports 2-wire and 4-wire measurements
- Thermocouple measurement.Measurement with external cold junction compensation
Compared to the other modules in the series, the DM309 offers the highest electrical load capacity and is the only module that enables measurements up to 600 VDC and 2 A. While the DM301 also offers current measurement (up to 1 A), the focus there is on versatility and the number of channels. The DM300 delivers the highest scan rate, but is limited to a maximum of 120 V. The DM303 offers many inputs, but no current or high voltage measurement. As a matrix module, the DM304 is primarily intended for signal switching without a direct measurement function.
