Description

DM308 | 20-Channel Actuator / Universal Switch for DAQ3120 Data Logger

The DM308 module is a robust 20-channel actuator and switching module for the modular DAQ3120 data recording system from B&K Precision. It has been specially developed for applications in which loads need to be reliably switched, devices remotely controlled or test cycles automated. With its 20 independent SPDT relays (Form C), the module offers maximum flexibility when connecting, disconnecting and switching external signals and loads.

The DM308 module is ideal for:

  • Automated test sequences and test bench control
  • Power cycling of devices under test (DUT)
  • Switching indicator lamps, status signals and signaling systems
  • Control of external power relays, solenoid valves and other actuators
  • General signal and load switching tasks in the laboratory or in production

Product features:

  • 20 independent SPDT relays (form C) - each with common, normally open and normally closed contact
  • High load capacity: up to 300 V and 1 A per channel
  • Maximum switching power: 50 W
  • Latching relay for reliable switching and low energy consumption
  • Flexible contact assignment enables a wide range of wiring variants
  • Optimal for actuator control, switching tasks and power applications
  • Seamless integration into the DAQ3120 system - configuration via front panel, PC software or web interface

In comparison to the pure measuring modules in the series, the DM308 takes on a special role as an actuator module. While the DM300 enables ultra-fast, isolated voltage measurements and the DM301 also measures current up to 1 A, the DM308 is designed for switching loads. With 40 channels, the DM303 offers the highest input density for voltage measurements, while the DM304 enables complex matrix signal circuits. The DM309 is available for particularly high voltages or currents, allowing measurements up to 600 VDC or 2 A. The DM307 in turn expands the system with digital inputs/outputs, counter functions and programmable analog outputs. The DM308 complements these modules perfectly when external loads need to be switched reliably and flexibly.
