The Cinergia GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series is a state-of-the-art bidirectional and regenerative converter platform that combines the functions of a Grid Emulator (GE), an Electronic Load (EL) and a Bidirectional DC Converter (B2C) in a single device. It thus offers the most comprehensive solution for test applications in the fields of renewable energy, smart grids, electromobility, battery systems and power electronics. The modular ePLUS architecture enables parallel or series operation of multiple devices to increase performance, while state-of-the-art digital control algorithms (30 kHz control loop) ensure maximum precision and dynamics.

The series covers a wide range of test and development applications, including

Model description: GE&EL+ 60 vAC/DC

The GE&EL+ 60 vAC/DC is the most powerful model in the compact form factor of the ePlus series and impresses with a rated power of 54 kW. With a rated current of 80 A (AC) and ±57 A (DC), this model is ideal for applications where high currents, precise dynamics and maximum energy efficiency are required - for example in the development of drive systems, power electronics, battery storage or grid-connected inverters. Like all devices in the GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series, the 60 kW model combines the functions of a grid emulator, an electronic load and a bidirectional DC converter in a single, modular device. The bidirectional, regenerative technology allows the system to both absorb energy and feed it back into the grid, reducing operating costs and minimizing the environmental footprint. Thanks to 30 kHz control, highly dynamic processes are mapped with exceptional stability and accuracy. The multichannel function and the programmable operating modes (CV, CC, CP, CR) offer the greatest possible flexibility for different test scenarios. With compact dimensions of 770 × 450 × 1100 mm and a weight of 200 kg, the GE&EL+ 60 vAC/DC delivers high performance in the smallest of spaces - the ideal solution for demanding research laboratories, test facilities and industrial development environments.
