The Cinergia GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series is a state-of-the-art bidirectional and regenerative converter platform that combines the functions of a Grid Emulator (GE), an Electronic Load (EL) and a Bidirectional DC Converter (B2C) in a single device. It thus offers the most comprehensive solution for test applications in the fields of renewable energy, smart grids, electromobility, battery systems and power electronics. The modular ePLUS architecture enables parallel or series operation of multiple devices to increase performance, while state-of-the-art digital control algorithms (30 kHz control loop) ensure maximum precision and dynamics.

The GE&EL+ 200 vAC/DC is the most powerful model in the ePlus series and represents the pinnacle of CINERGIA's modular, regenerative test systems. With a rated power of 160 kW, a rated current of 232 A (AC) and ±185 A (DC), this device offers enormous power reserves for highly dynamic, large-scale test applications in energy and electromobility research. It is the ideal choice for high-voltage battery testing, power electronics test benches, grid simulation systems and power hardware-in-the-loop applications on an industrial scale. Like all models in the GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series, the 200 kW system combines the functions of a grid emulator, a regenerative electronic load and a bidirectional DC converter in a single platform. Its bidirectional regenerative technology allows excess energy to be fed back into the grid, minimizing operating costs and heat losses. With a THDi < 3 %, a power factor > 0.98 and a control dynamics below 1 ms, the system guarantees maximum accuracy and efficiency. The 30 kHz control ensures excellent performance for fast transient processes, while the programmable operating modes (CV, CC, CP, CR) and multichannel operation allow flexible test configurations.
