The Cinergia GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series is a state-of-the-art bidirectional and regenerative converter platform that combines the functions of a Grid Emulator (GE), an Electronic Load (EL) and a Bidirectional DC Converter (B2C) in a single device. The GE&EL+ 100 vAC/DC is a high-performance model in the ePlus series and has been specially developed for applications that require maximum energy availability, precise control and extensive test flexibility. With a rated power of 100 kW, a rated current of 145 A (AC) and ±130 A (DC), this device is ideal for large-scale testing of energy storage, inverters, charging infrastructure and industrial grid systems. Like all devices in the GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series, the 100 kW model combines the functions of a grid emulator, a regenerative electronic load and a bidirectional DC converter in a single, modular unit. Thanks to the bidirectional regenerative technology, energy is efficiently transferred between the grid and the device under test, reducing operating costs and minimizing thermal losses. With a THDi < 3%, a power factor > 0.98 and transient times under 1 ms, the system offers maximum precision and dynamics. The programmable operating modes (CV, CC, CP, CR), the 30 kHz control and the multichannel operation make the GE&EL+ 100 vAC/DC a versatile tool for research, development and quality assurance.
