The Cinergia GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series is a state-of-the-art bidirectional and regenerative converter platform that combines the functions of a Grid Emulator (GE), an Electronic Load (EL) and a Bidirectional DC Converter (B2C) in a single device. It thus offers the most comprehensive solution for test applications in the fields of renewable energy, smart grids, electromobility, battery systems and power electronics. The modular ePLUS architecture enables parallel or series operation of multiple devices to increase performance, while state-of-the-art digital control algorithms (30 kHz control loop) ensure maximum precision and dynamics.

The GE&EL+ 120 vAC/DC is a high-performance model from the ePlus series that has been specially developed for test applications with high energy requirements and high dynamics. With a rated power of 108 kW, a rated current of 157 A (AC) and ±130 A (DC), this system offers maximum flexibility for the validation of modern energy and drive systems. It is ideal for use in battery and energy storage testing, grid simulation applications, PV inverter testing and e-mobility testing environments. Like all devices in the GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series, the 120 kW model combines the functions of a grid emulator, a regenerative electronic load and a bidirectional DC converter in a compact, modular system. The bidirectional and regenerative technology efficiently feeds energy back into the grid, which not only reduces operating costs but also improves sustainability in test operation. With a THDi < 3 %, a power factor > 0.98 and transient times of less than 1 ms, the device offers maximum control quality and precision. The 30 kHz control ensures excellent signal quality and dynamics, while the programmable modes (CV, CC, CP, CR) and multichannel operation enable flexible test configurations. With a weight of 400 kg and dimensions of 880 × 875 × 1320 mm, the GE&EL+ 120 vAC/DC delivers maximum performance in a robust and industrial-grade design - ideal for research and test laboratories that demand maximum efficiency, flexibility and accuracy.
