The Cinergia GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series is a state-of-the-art bidirectional and regenerative converter platform that combines the functions of a Grid Emulator (GE), an Electronic Load (EL) and a Bidirectional DC Converter (B2C) in a single device. It thus offers the most comprehensive solution for test applications in the fields of renewable energy, smart grids, electromobility, battery systems and power electronics. The modular ePLUS architecture enables parallel or series operation of multiple devices to increase performance, while state-of-the-art digital control algorithms (30 kHz control loop) ensure maximum precision and dynamics.

The GE&EL+ 80 vAC/DC is the first model in the ePlus series in the higher power segment and, with a rated power of 80 kW, offers enormous reserves for large-scale testing and development tasks. With a rated current of 116 A (AC) and ±105 A (DC), this device is designed for applications that require high currents, precise control and maximum efficiency - for example in the field of electromobility, battery storage development, grid integration and research on high-performance converters. Like all devices in the GE&EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series, the 80 kW model combines the functions of a grid emulator, a regenerative electronic load and a bidirectional DC converter in one modular system. Its bidirectional, regenerative architecture allows both energy supply and consumption, enabling tests to be carried out in an energy-efficient and sustainable manner. The device impresses with highest measurement accuracy (up to ±0.1 % FS), very short transient times of less than 1 ms and a THDi < 3 %. The 30 kHz control ensures excellent dynamics for high-frequency test sequences, while the programmable modes (CV, CC, CP, CR) and multichannel operation enable flexible configurations. With a weight of 400 kg and dimensions of 880 × 875 × 1320 mm, the GE&EL+ 80 vAC/DC combines high performance, robustness and precision in a compact, industrial-grade design - ideal for professional research and test environments with increased power requirements.
