ESD1: Seminar goals:
The participants receive a sound basic knowledge of the physics of electrostatics and their damage mechanisms in electronic components. You will be familiarized with the necessary protective measures, the equipment and establishment of an ESD protection zone (EPA) in accordance with the IEC DIN EN 61340-5-1 standard, among others. You will receive an overview of the tasks of an ESD officer, as well as the measuring methods and measuring devices for electrostatics. With a final success check, the graduates prove their acquired knowledge, which is confirmed by the certificate Electro Static Discharge.

ESD 2: Seminar goals:
The participants receive in-depth knowledge of the tasks, competencies and responsibilities in the ESD protection zone (EPA). You will receive information on the selection of protective materials (specifications) and will be instructed in the planning, organization and implementation of audits and training courses. Through in-depth physical background knowledge, they are made aware of the localization of possible ESD sources of damage. The necessary knowledge of measurement and testing technology is deepened. With a final success check, the graduates prove their acquired knowledge, which is confirmed by the certificate ESD responsibility in the EPA.

ESD 3: Seminar goals:
The participants get to know normative and practicable measuring techniques of electrostatics in the practically furnished seminar rooms. In pairs, all necessary measurement tasks for protective materials and EPA equipment are carried out in measurement exercises. Thanks to intensive support, measurement errors and problems are immediately recognized and corrected. With a final evaluation of the measurement results, the graduates prove the knowledge they have acquired, which is confirmed by the ESD measurement technology certificate.
