The A1110-40-QE from Hubert is a linear, extremely wideband precision power amplifier for applications that require high-performance and high-precision amplification of rapidly changing signals. The device can be operated as both a voltage amplifier and a current amplifier. In current amplifier mode, it provides a constant output current that is largely independent of frequency, particularly with inductive loads.
Various operating voltage ranges are available for flexible adaptation to different loads. This makes the amplifier suitable for both high-voltage/low-current and low-voltage/high-current applications. Automatic switching of the supply voltage can reduce power dissipation, particularly with low-impedance loads. The output voltage and output current can be limited and monitored via monitor outputs. Temperature monitoring, power dissipation calculation, current monitoring, and an interlock function ensure safe operation. The unit can be operated either directly on the device or via the included A1110 Control software.
Typical applications include general laboratory use in research, development, and testing; EMC testing; materials testing; MRI applications; component testing; and the control of immersion coils and piezo actuators. In addition, the A1110-40-QE is suitable for generating magnetic fields—for example, using Helmholtz coils—as well as for applications in medical technology, laser technology, and plasma technology.
