The HUBERT A1110-16-E is a linear, extremely wideband precision power amplifier designed for applications that require high performance and accuracy with rapidly changing signals. The device can be operated as both a voltage amplifier and a current amplifier. In current amplifier mode, it provides a constant output current that is virtually independent of frequency, particularly for inductive loads.
Three operating voltages are available for optimal adaptation to different loads. This allows the amplifier to be used for both high output voltages at lower currents and low voltages at high load currents. The output voltage and output current can be limited and monitored via separate monitor outputs. Reliable operation is ensured by features such as temperature-controlled cooling, overtemperature shutdown, power dissipation calculation, absolute current monitoring, and an interlock function. The amplifier is operated either directly via the front panel or via a PC using the USB interface and the accompanying control software.
Typical applications for the A1110-16-E include general laboratory applications in research, development, and testing; EMC testing; material and component testing; and medical technology applications. In addition, the amplifier is suitable, among other things, for driving immersion coils and piezo actuators, for generating magnetic fields—for example, with Helmholtz coils—and for applications in MRI, laser, and plasma technology.
