FieldFox models are portable, easy to hold and simple to operate. With a wide range of optional upgrades and extensions, FieldFox is the most powerful handheld analyzer in the industry.
Choose from models with spectrum analyzer (SA), vector network analyzer (VNA), cable/antenna analyzer (CAT) or ‘all-in-one’ RF/microwave combination analyzers (CAT + VNA + SA).

The analysis functions of the FieldFox N991xA and N995xA combo models include distance to fault, return loss (dB), transmission loss (1-port) and insertion loss (2-port).

The FieldFox N993xA and N996xA offer high-precision spectrum analysis and power measurement functions, including channel power (CHP + ACP), occupied bandwidth and spectrum emission mask (SEM).

The FieldFox N992xA models are designed for transmission and reflection measurements, S11, S21. With options, the system can also be expanded to a 2-port S-parameter test system.
Powerful measurement and analysis functions make the FieldFox a versatile portable real-time spectrum analyser, vector network analyser or cable and antenna analyser. With the extensive range of options available, you can expand your model to meet your specific measurement requirements. Time domain reflectometry (TDR) and distance-to-fault measurements (Option 215) allow you to locate and characterise faults in the signal path. In VNA time domain mode (Option 010), reflection or transmission coefficients are displayed over time using inverse Fourier transformation of the frequency data. With real-time spectrum analysis (Option 350), you can detect even the smallest signal disturbances from sporadic events or the spectral behaviour of a test object, e.g. during switching operations.
The I/Q analyzer (Option 351) enables frequency and time domain measurements with an analysis bandwidth of 10 MHz, the display of I/Q parameters such as acquisition time, sampling rate, sampling period, sample values and up to 4 simultaneous multi-domain measurement displays. You can develop communication systems faster by performing over-the-air measurements (LTE FDD/TDD and 5GTF, Options 370/371 and 377). With OTA testing, you can check relevant performance factors such as signal paths, antenna gain and radiation characteristics.
With the built-in power meter (Option 310), the FieldFox can perform highly accurate measurements of channel power over a defined bandwidth. To verify network coverage or identify interference in a specific area, receiver measurements must be combined with GPS location markers or indoor markers. Using the mapping function (Option 352), the FieldFox imports maps from OpenStreetMap (OSM) and displays them on the screen.
