Keysight N9918A | FieldFox, high-frequency combi analyzer 30 kHz to 26.5 GHz.

Cable and Antenna Analyzer (CAT) and Vector Network Analyzer (VNA):

  • 30kHz to 26.5GHz
  • Dynamic range: 100 dB at 9 GHz; 94dB at 18GHz; 70dB at 26.5GHz
  • Output power level -12 dBm (23 GHz to 26.5 GHz), -10 dBm (18 GHz to 23 GHz), -6 dBm (14 GHz to 18 GHz)
  • CAT: Cable attenuation, return loss, distance to fault
  • VNA: Measurement of the S parameters: S11, S21, S22, S12 according to amount and phase

Spectrum analyzer:

  • 5kHz to 26.5GHz
  • ± 0.6 dB amplitude accuracy over the entire bandwidth and over the entire temperature range from -10 °C to +55 °C. Same accuracy class as laboratory devices
  • Signal-to-noise ratio ≥ 105 dB
  • The accuracy is achieved without warm-up time and temperature fluctuations do not affect the stated accuracy
  • Tracking generator over the entire bandwidth

Independent source, vector voltmeter (VVM), power meter and other built-in measurement capabilities:

  • RF Source: 30 kHz to 26.5 GHz, CW, CW coupled and tracking
  • VVM: 30 kHz to 26.5 GHz, comparing phase and electrical cable length
  • Power measurement by a USB power sensor: 9 kHz to 24 GHz (depending on the type of sensor used)
  • Integrated power meter 5 kHz to 26.5 GHz
  • Optional GPS receiver
  • Optional: Variable DC voltage source 1 V to 32 V, 650 mA max and 8 W max

  • CalReady: integrated test connection for S-parameter determination and for error distance measurement in cable measurements
  • InstAlign: The accuracy is also achieved without warm-up time over the entire frequency range and temperature fluctuations have no influence on the specified accuracy

The fast field fox N9918A from Keysight is a mobile handheld device for rough field use for testing cables and antennas . Optionally, it can be upgraded to a spectrum or network analyzer - hence the name "Combination Analyzer". With this device you have Keysight (formerly Agilent's electronic measurement technology) quality and accuracy in your hands - because it is portable, feels good in your hand and is easy to use.

Other optional expansion options are e.g. B. the installation of an integrated power meter, an independent signal generator, a vector voltmeter, an interference analyzer, a variably adjustable DC voltage source, and a GPS receiver.
