The HVL series from B&K Precision is a high-performance line of high-voltage DC electronic loads designed specifically for demanding test applications. With a maximum power output of up to 6 kW and operating voltages of up to 1000 V, this series offers high power density and versatility. Thanks to support for multiple operating modes, including CC (Constant Current), CV (Constant Voltage), CR (Constant Resistance), and CW (Constant Power), the HVL series is suitable for a wide range of test scenarios.

Typical applications:

  • Testing of high-voltage batteries, particularly for electric vehicles (EVs)
  • Testing of on-board chargers and charging stations
  • Evaluation of DC-DC converters and high-power power supplies
  • Testing of photovoltaic systems and fuel cell systems
  • Simulation of dynamic load conditions in research and development

The HVL150250 model is the 2-kW variant of the HVL series and features a maximum input voltage of 150 V and a very high maximum current of 250 A. This makes this model particularly suitable for applications with low voltages and high currents, for example in the field of battery testing or high-current power supplies.

  • All models can be configured for parallel operation of up to 10 units to achieve a total power output of up to 60 kW.
