The HVL series from B&K Precision is a powerful range of high voltage DC electronic loads designed for demanding test environments. With a maximum power of up to 6 kW and operating voltages up to 1000 V, this series offers high flexibility for a wide range of applications. By supporting different operating modes - CC (constant current), CV (constant voltage), CR (constant resistance) and CW (constant power) - the HVL series is ideal for complex test requirements.

Typical areas of application:

  • Testing high-voltage batteries, especially for electric vehicles (EV)
  • Testing of on-board chargers and charging stations
  • Evaluation of DC-DC-converters and high-power power supplies
  • Testing of photovoltaic systems and fuel cell systems
  • Simulation of dynamic load conditions in research and development

The HVL800150 model is a high-power DC load with a maximum input voltage of 800 V and a maximum current of 150 A. It offers a maximum power consumption of 6 kW and is particularly suitable for applications with high voltages and medium to high currents.

Differences to other variants in the HVL series:

  • The HVL800150 model offers 800 V / 150 A with a maximum power of 6 kW.
  • The HVL600300 model offers 600 V / 300 A with the same power.
  • The HVL100050 model supports 1000 V / 50 A with also 6 kW power.
  • All models can be configured for parallel operation of up to 10 units to achieve a total power of up to 60 kW.

The HVL800150 model offers a reliable and powerful solution for high voltage testing in research, development and industrial applications. With its high voltage rating, flexible programming options and extensive protection functions, it is an ideal tool for demanding test environments.
