The 8514B is the most powerful model in the 8500B series and is aimed at professional users with the highest demands. With up to 1500 W power consumption, 240 A input current and 120 V input voltage, this electronic load is ideal for industrial test systems, high-current batteries, UPSs and power supply units.
The extensive range of functions includes a precise 16-bit measurement system, dynamic test modes (list, transient, auto), a battery test mode and modern communication interfaces (USB & RS232). Thanks to the temperature-controlled fans, quiet operation is guaranteed even at maximum power.
The 8514B outperforms all other models in the series in terms of performance and power consumption. While the 8510B, for example, manages with 600 W, the 8514B delivers a full 1500 W and is therefore ideal for energy-intensive test environments. Those testing smaller systems or high-voltage sources, on the other hand, are better advised to use the 8502B or 8500B.
