The 8502B model from the 8500B series has been specially developed for applications where a high input voltage is required - ideal for tests on photovoltaic systems, DC-DC converters and power supplies with a higher output voltage. The electronic load offers precise control in four operating modes: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR) and constant power (CW).
With a maximum input voltage of 500 V at 300 W power and up to 15 A current consumption, the 8502B offers a reliable platform for demanding test tasks. The integrated memory allows up to 100 user-defined configurations to be recalled quickly. In addition, a transient and list mode as well as a built-in battery test function are available.
Compared to other models in the series, the 8502B is particularly suitable for high-voltage applications. It differs from the 8500B due to its significantly higher input voltage (500 V instead of 150 V), but with the same power (300 W). Compared to the 8510B and 8514B, it is designed for a lower current, but is ideal for precise voltage and current regulation in the high-voltage range. The 8542B is ideal for classic applications with lower voltages. If you need maximum power, go for the 8514B with 1500 W.
