Manufacturer number: DPO714AX
The Tektronix DPO7 oscilloscopes combine up to 25 GHz analog bandwidth, 125 GS/s sampling rate on all four channels, 10-bit ADC signal processing and a particularly low-noise signal path for maximum measurement accuracy. The large 15.6" full HD touch display with the intuitive TekScope user interface ensures fast measurement processes. QuietChannel with active CTLE equalization reduces noise, while pinpoint triggering (incl. visual trigger) reliably isolates even complex events. The integrated 10G-SFP+ interface (TekHSI) transfers large data sets to the PC up to ten times faster. Remote access is possible via e*Scope.
Typical applications range from high energy and plasma/fusion research, digital design, jitter and timing analysis, memory bus debug and compliance testing (PCIe, USB, DisplayPort, DDR, etc.) to memory bus debug. etc.) through to broadband RF analysis with SignalVu-PC (multi-channel, phase-synchronous evaluation). The low intrinsic timebase jitter, low recording lengths and <20 ns low-latency trigger propagation support precise multi-channel measurements and fast automation.
The DPO714AX offers 4 TekConnect inputs and is available in bandwidths from 8-25 GHz (upgradeable). As standard, 500 Mpts recording length per channel is available, optionally expandable to 1 Gpts or 2 Gpts. The combination of 10-bit ADC with high ENOB and the optimized, low-noise front end delivers exceptionally detailed captures - ideal for highly dynamic signals.
For fast workflows, the DPO714AX integrates the 10G SFP+ data connection (TekHSI), extensive standard analyses (36 measurement functions, FFT, spectrum/phase noise) and pinpoint trigger up to full bandwidth. The Visual Trigger function finds events much faster using freely definable screen areas, and the Low-Latency Aux-In enables <20 ns trigger pass-through.
Bandwidth upgrades from 8 to 25 GHz ensure investment protection (IPP). Recording length upgrades 7-RL-1 (to 1 Gpts/Ch) and 7-RL-2 (to 2 Gpts/Ch) extend the analysis windows for long or fast transients.
Extensive Hardware Trigger, Decode & Search options are available - from PCIe Gen1-Gen4 to Automotive (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, 100Base-T1), Embedded (I²C, SPI, UART/RS-232/422/485), Ethernet to Aerospace (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429) and many other protocols.
TekExpress compliance apps automate checks for PCIe and other protocols. including PCIe Gen1-4, USB4 v1, DisplayPort, DDR5/LPDDR5, MIPI D-/C-PHY - incl. setup, limit value check and detailed HTML reports (Windows SSD 7-WIN required, partly with 7-DJA).
With SignalVu-PC, the DPO714AX becomes a multi-channel VSA solution (time-correlated analyses in time/frequency/modulation domain, incl. spectrum, spectrogram, pulse analysis). The Windows SSD (7-WIN) and a Connect license (CON7NL-SVPC/CON7FL-SVPC) for SignalVu-PC are required for operation on the instrument.
