The Pico TA189 30 A precision current probe was developed for non-contact and interference-free measurements up to 30 A. The current clamp uses Hall-effect technology with closed circuits and measures both AC currents and DC currents with maximum stability, even over a long period of time.
The current clamp is ideal for detecting current leaks, testing sensors in cars and trucks, battery discharge tests and, in combination with an active differential probe, can be used for performance quality analysis. Thanks to the BNC connection, the precision current probe can be connected to a variety of oscilloscopes.
The Pico TA189 is characterized by its high accuracy, minimized noise and high response speed. Furthermore, it offers a clamp opening with a diameter of 25 mm and thus easily encompasses even thicker cable runs.
In the new issue of “dataTec unboxed” we present the new InfiniiVision HD3 oscilloscopes from Keysight with 14-bit ADC.
