The U1273AX hand-held digital multimeter is designed for robust use. It tolerates splash water, dust according to the IP54 classification and low temperatures. It can even be used down to -40 ° C without a warm-up time, with full accuracy of 0.05% for DC voltage measurements. The OLED display (Organic Light Emitting Diode) provides very good reading conditions in bright and very dark environments and offers a wide viewing angle of 160 ° . An extra large rotary switch on the multimeter and large buttons allow easy handling, even with work gloves.

Intelligent functions increase productivity: ZLOW to avoid stray voltages and Smart Ohm to minimize leakage currents. Continuous measurements in loud and dark surroundings are indicated by the flashing backlight and the extra loud signal tone. This also increases safety when measuring high voltages. For troubleshooting at variable frequencies, the U1270A series supports the measurements with a switchable low-pass filter.
