E4980BL | Precision LCR Meter, Basic Device

The Keysight E4980BL precision LCR component tester combines precise accuracy, speed and versatility for a wide range of applications in research and development (R&D) and manufacturing.

With the E4980BL, the successor to the successful E4980AL, you can determine the relative permeability and relative dielectric constant of a wide variety of materials or measure the key electrical parameters such as resistance, capacitance and inductance on components - with maximum precision in both the high and low impedance range. Corresponding measurement recordings, built-in power supply units that supply the test object with voltage and current, and built-in multimeter functions make work easier and reduce the measurement effort.

The basic device absolutely requires a frequency option. Depending on the option selected, the test frequencies of the LCR meter range from 20 Hz to 300 kHz, 500 kHz or 1 MHz. The E4980B variant has a test frequency of 20 Hz to 2 MHz.

Thanks to the clear display, operation is very simple and intuitive. The versatile LAN, USB and GPIB PC connectivity increases your design and test productivity.

  • Frequency: 20 Hz to 300 kHz / 500 kHz / 1 MHz (depending on option), with 4-digit resolution in each range
  • Basic accuracy: 0.05 % basic accuracy with precise measurement repeatability at low and high impedance
  • DC bias: DC bias increase (Keysight option 001)

  • DC resistance
