2302 | Programmable DC power supply for battery simulation, 1 channel, up to 15 V / 5 A

A DC power supply that can simulate the performance of a battery under many different conditions is required to test portable, battery-operated devices under realistic conditions. The 2300 series for battery simulation can simulate the output resistance of a battery as well as the output voltage.

The 1-channel battery simulator Keithley 2302 was specially developed for the requirements in the development and testing of portable, battery-operated devices, such as cell phones, portable radios, etc.

This high-precision DC power supply has an ultra-fast transient response in order to be able to emulate the behavior of a DUT in operation with accumulators / batteries identically.

Product features 2300 series:

  • Extremely quick response to temporary load currents that emulate the behavior of batteries identically
  • Variable output resistance simulates the internal battery resistance
  • Pulse peak, average and base load current measurements
  • DC sensitivity of 100 nA for monitoring low sleep mode currents of battery powered devices
  • Function for measuring current steps for load current measurement at every level of the device operating status
  • Lowering down to 3 A to simulate a discharged battery
