Fluke 1550C | Tera ohmmeter for insulation tests up to 5 kV.

  • Solutions for all applications with high test voltages up to 10 kV
  • Safety specification according to CAT III 1000 V, CAT IV 600 V
  • Increased user safety thanks to a warning display when high voltage is present and automatic display of AC or DC voltage up to 600 V
  • Test voltage selectable from 250 V to 1000 V in steps of 50 V, over 1000 V in steps of 100 V
  • Up to 99 memory locations for measured values; each memory location can be assigned a unique, user-defined name for easy recall
  • Long operating time: Over 750 tests between battery charges
  • Automatic calculation of dielectric absorption (DAR, characteristic value for unwanted charge storage of the dielectric) and polarization index (PI, ratio from resistance measurement after ten minutes and one minute)
  • Protection system eliminates static voltages and leakage currents when measuring high resistances
  • Easy to read thanks to large digital/analog display
  • Capacitance and leakage current measurement
  • Ramp function for dielectric strength tests
  • Resistance measurements up to 2 TΩ
  • Timer settings up to 99 minutes for time-controlled tests

1550C | Insulation measuring device up to 5kV, 200 kOhm - 2 TOhm

The Fluke 1550C insulation tester is suitable for insulation testing up to 5 kV. This makes them the ideal tools for testing high voltage equipment such as switchgear, motors, generators and cables. Fluke insulation testers can now test all voltages specified in IEEE 43-2000. They have the safety specification CAT IV, 600 V.

With measurement memory and PC interface, the 1550C is a perfect tool for predictive or preventive maintenance, detecting potential equipment failures before they occur.
