The Fluke 1550C insulation tester is suitable for digital insulation testing up to 5 kV. This makes it the ideal device for testing high-voltage equipment such as switchgear, motors, generators and cables. With reading memory and PC interface, the 1550C is the perfect tool for preventive or predictive maintenance programs to identify potential equipment failures before they occur.

Product features:

  • Test insulations with voltages up to 5 kV and save time with on-site trending with Fluke Connect
  • CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V safety specification
  • Increased user safety through a warning display when mains voltage is present and through automatic display of AC or DC voltage up to 600 V
  • Test voltage selectable from 250V to 1000V in 50V increments, over 1000V in 100V increments
  • Up to 99 memory locations for measured values; each storage location can be assigned a unique, custom label for easy retrieval
  • Long service life: over 750 checks between battery charges
  • Automatic calculation of dielectric absorption (DAR) and polarization index (PI)
  • Protection system eliminates static voltages and leakage currents when measuring high resistances
  • Easy to read thanks to the large digital/analogue display
  • Capacitance and leakage current measurement
  • Ramp function for dielectric strength tests
  • Resistance measurements up to 2 T?
  • Timer settings up to 99 minutes for timed exams
