The Fluke 1537 is a compact and lightweight insulation tester that provides fast, accurate and reliable insulation testing up to 2500V. It is designed to simplify on-site troubleshooting, both in industrial and solar systems. The insulation tester offers selectable AC/DC voltage and resistance measurement from 250 to 2500 V in 100 V steps and up to 500 GOhm. Ramp Test Mode allows users to linearly increase the applied test voltage by 100 V/s to detect potentially difficult-to-identify fault conditions. In addition, dielectric discharge rate (DD) calculation enables the automatic identification of elusive insulation problems, making diagnostic processes more effective. These features allow users to perform a wide range of operations using just one device. The intuitive user interface, a short-circuit current of up to 5 mA and CAT IV 600 V safety ensure fast and stable measurements anywhere. In addition, the 1537 insulation tester also allows measurements to be saved using the included software for later review or transfer to the PC.
