The Fluke 1537 is a compact and lightweight insulation tester that provides fast, accurate and reliable insulation testing up to 2500 V. It is designed to simplify field troubleshooting in both industrial and solar installations. The insulation tester offers selectable AC/DC voltage and resistance measurement from 250 to 2500 V in 100 V increments and up to 500 GOhm. The ramp test mode allows users to increase the applied test voltage linearly by 100 V/s to detect potentially difficult to identify fault conditions. In addition, the dielectric discharge rate (DD) calculation automatically enables the identification of elusive insulation problems, making the diagnostic process more effective. These features allow users to perform a wide range of operations with just one tool. The intuitive user interface, a short-circuit current of up to 5 mA and safety according to CAT IV 600 V ensure fast and stable measurements in any location. In addition, the 1537 insulation tester also allows measurements to be saved using the included software for later review or transfer to the PC.
