The bidirectional DC laboratory power supplies of the EA Elektro-Automatik series PSBE 10000 are two-quadrant power supplies that can take on the function of both a power supply and that of an electronic load. In load operation, the DC power supplies work regeneratively and feed the energy back into the local power grid with an efficiency of over 96%. This efficient feedback reduces your costs.

The DC power supplies act as a flexible output stage with a constant performance characteristic, the so-called autoranging, as well as a large voltage, current and power range. In order to achieve higher power and currents, all devices have a master-slave bus. With 64 devices connected in parallel, this enables a system to be set up that provides up to 1920 kW and 64000 A.

The power supplies of the PSBE 10000 series are particularly suitable for automated applications and for remote control . If you are looking for a powerful, bidirectional power supply for development, we recommend the power supplies from the more extensive PSB 10000 series.

The PSBE10500-1804U variant of the EA PSBE10000 series presented here measures 4 HU (4 U) and has 1 channel, 500 V / +/-180 A / 30 kW.

  • Current from 0 - 6 A to 0 - 120 A
  • Flexible power-controlled DC input/output stages (autoranging)
  • Control mode CV, CC, CP, CR with fast transition
  • Digital control, high resolution with 16bit ADCs and DACs
  • Colored 5" TFT display, touch function and intuitive operation
  • Galvanically isolated share bus for parallel operation of all performance classes in the 10000 series
  • Master-slave bus for parallel operation, up to 64 devices of all performance classes of the 10000 series
  • Predefined automotive test procedures for LV123, LV124 and LV148
  • Integrated battery test, battery simulation and fuel cell simulation
  • Photovoltaic test mode, MPPT, DIN EN 50530
  • Standard interfaces: USB, Ethernet, analog, USB host, master-slave bus, share bus
  • Optional interfaces: CAN, CANopen, RS232, Profibus, EtherCAT, Profinet with one or two ports, Modbus with one or two ports, Ethernet with one or two ports
  • Command languages and drivers: SCPI and ModBus, LabVIEW, IVI
