Chroma A615003 is an AC Voltage Transform Unit (optional unit) combined with AC-Sources 61500/61600 series. The output voltage of Chroma AC Power Source 61500/61600 series and 6430 & 6530 are not over 300VAC, AC Power Source is main unit for A615003, providing the users more extensive application range, step-up via transformer then output to increase AC Source output voltage range. The maximum provided output can up to 600VAC, 1800VA.
So you can choose not via transformer, outputting by BYPASS mode directly. The transformation method can control A615003 to be step-up or BYPASS by TTL signal under remote mode.
For decreasing load active and increasing output voltage accuracy, the output voltage measuring "Remote Sense" can connect to A615003 for high voltage compensation. The current measurement via the current transformer inside A615003, can measure out decay 14.42dB waveform and value on outputting BNC connector (current measurement reserved).
