The Chroma 61800-100 is a fully regenerative full 4-quadrant AC source with advanced network simulation features for compliance, security and product verification testing. With the regenerative grid simulator (grid simulator) you meet test standards for distributed resource (DR) products such as PV inverters or wind energy systems (IEEE 1547 / IEC 61000-3-15 / IEC 62116) as well as for general household appliances. The network simulator 61800-100 can also meet test requirements with intelligent network tests and test applications related to electric vehicles, e.g. B. Testing of V2G (vehicle feed) and ESS (energy storage system).
The DUT can seamlessly be a power consumer and power source to support different types of applications. In cases where the DUT serves as a power source, the excess power is determined by a detection circuit and fed back into the power grid.
