The MDL4UB series from B&K Precision is a modular, programmable DC load characterized by versatility, precision and system compatibility. With up to 16 channels supported with expansion and modules from 200 W to 600 W, it offers flexible solutions for a wide range of applications in the test and development of energy sources such as power supplies, batteries, solar modules and fuel cells.
The operating modes supported are constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR) and constant power (CW). The functions include 16-bit measurement resolution, list mode with up to 84 steps, transient operation up to 25 kHz, adjustable slew rate and modern communication interfaces (USB, LAN, RS232, GPIB) for integration into automated test systems.
Module variant MDL4U502B
The MDL4U502B model is a dual-channel DC load module with a total output of 300 W and a wide voltage range of up to 600 V. The power can be flexibly distributed to both channels (e.g. 250 W/50 W, 150 W/150 W). With a current of up to 15 A, this model is particularly suitable for applications in which two independent high-voltage sources are to be tested - for example in photovoltaics, industrial DC supplies or for battery testing.
