The B&K Precision 9801 is a compact, programmable AC power source with up to 300 VA output power. It offers precise voltage and frequency adjustment and is ideal for applications in research & development, service, production and for preparatory tests in accordance with IEC standards. In addition, it supports various test modes such as voltage and frequency sweeps, power line disturbances (PLD), dimmer simulations and the programming of waveform sequences (list mode).

The AC source is equipped with an easy-to-read VFD display that shows real-time information on current, voltage, frequency, power factor and more. The device can be conveniently controlled remotely via USB, RS232 or LAN - perfect for automated test systems.

The 9800/B series comprises three models: 9801, 9803/B and 9805/B. While the 9801 model is compact and lightweight and offers a maximum output of 300 VA, the 9803/B (750 VA) and 9805/B (1500 VA) variants are particularly suitable for more demanding tests with higher loads. Both have extended current ranges (up to 36 A peak for the 9805/B) and offer optional GPIB interfaces. The basic functions such as list and sweep mode, PLD simulation and comprehensive measurement and display options are common to all models. The right model can therefore be selected depending on the power requirements and interface requirements.
