The CINERGIA EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series combines maximum precision, efficiency and modularity in modern regenerative power electronics. As a bidirectional electronic load for AC and DC applications, it is the ideal solution for professional research, development and industrial testing processes. Thanks to its regenerative topology, energy is fed back into the grid during test operation - this lowers energy consumption, reduces heat generation and saves operating costs. With a harmonic mains input (THDi < 3 %) and a power factor above 0.98, the series offers the highest mains quality and system stability in every application.

The EL+ 80 vAC/DC model represents the entry into the high-performance range of the series and offers a rated output of 80 kW. It delivers up to 116 A (three-phase operation) in AC mode and ±105 A / ±315 A in DC mode. This makes this model ideal for extensive system tests, battery tests and inverter tests with high currents. Like all devices in the series, the EL+ 80 vAC/DC also works completely bidirectional and regenerative - the energy consumed is efficiently fed back into the grid. This reduces the energy requirement and enables sustainable, continuous test operation, even over long running times. Compared to smaller models such as the EL+ 50 or EL+ 60, the 80-kW version offers a significantly higher current carrying capacity and was designed for use in industrial test fields and R&E laboratories with extended power requirements. With compact dimensions (870 × 875 × 1320 mm) and a weight of approx. 400 kg, it is robust and space-saving at the same time. Thanks to a resolution of 10 mV/10 mA and a response time of less than 1 ms, the EL+ 80 guarantees precise, dynamic load simulations with maximum stability. It is controlled via the integrated 4.3″ touch display or remotely via Modbus TCP/Ethernet. Optional battery test, battery emulation and PV panel emulation functions are available to precisely map demanding energy applications.
