The CINERGIA EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series combines state-of-the-art regenerative power electronics with maximum precision and flexibility. As a bidirectional electronic load for AC and DC applications, it offers an outstanding platform for demanding tests, simulations and research tasks. The devices in this series are characterized by their regenerative hardware, which feeds energy back into the grid during operation and thus significantly reduces energy consumption and operating costs. With a harmonic mains input (THDi < 3 %, power factor > 0.98), the series stands for maximum mains quality and efficiency in laboratory and industrial applications.

The EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series was developed for universal applications in energy, research and testing technology:

Model description: EL+ 30 vAC/DC

The EL+ 30 vAC/DC model is a powerful, versatile AC/DC test device with a rated output of 27 kW. It offers a maximum AC current of 40 A (three-phase operation) or 120 A (single phase) and a DC current range of ±30 A / ±90 A. This makes it ideal for tests that require higher currents, fast load changes and precise control. Like all models in the series, the EL+ 30 vAC/DC is fully bi-directional and regenerative, feeding energy back into the grid during testing. This enables sustainable, energy-efficient laboratory applications with low waste heat generation. Compared to the smaller EL+ 15 and EL+ 20 vAC/DC models, the 30 kW version offers a significantly higher current and power density and is particularly suitable for medium to large test systems. With dimensions of 770 × 450 × 1100 mm and a weight of around 195 kg, it remains compact and mobile. Thanks to a resolution of 10 mV/10 mA and a response time of less than 1 ms, the EL+ 30 impresses with its precise control and high dynamics during transient load changes. It can be operated either via the integrated 4.3″ touch display or by remote control via Modbus TCP/Ethernet. Optional functions such as battery test, battery emulation and PV panel emulation make this model a versatile tool in modern test laboratories.
