The CINERGIA EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series stands for precision, efficiency and versatility in modern regenerative power electronics. As a bidirectional electronic load for AC and DC applications, it offers maximum flexibility for research, development and industrial test environments. Thanks to its feedback-capable topology, energy is fed back into the grid during tests - this not only reduces power consumption, but also operating costs. With a harmonic mains input (THDi < 3 %) and a power factor above 0.98, the series guarantees maximum mains quality and energy efficiency.
The EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series can be used universally and meets the highest requirements in research and industry:
The EL+ 60 vAC/DC model offers a rated output of 54 kW and marks the transition from compact laboratory solutions to professional high-performance systems. It delivers up to 80 A (three-phase operation) or 240 A (single phase) in AC mode and ±57 A / ±171 A in DC mode. This makes this model perfect for extensive test tasks with high current requirements and fast transients. Like all devices in the series, the EL+ 60 vAC/DC is fully bidirectional and regenerative. This means that the energy consumed during test operation is fed back into the grid with a high degree of efficiency. This ensures a sustainable, energy-efficient testing process - ideal for laboratories that value cost-effectiveness and environmental compatibility. Compared to smaller models such as the EL+ 40 or EL+ 50, the 60 kW version offers a significantly higher power reserve and is therefore suitable for demanding R&E and system tests. Despite its high output, it remains compact and versatile to integrate with dimensions of 770 × 450 × 1100 mm. With a response time of less than 1 ms and a control resolution of 10 mV/10 mA, it enables precise, repeatable results even with rapid load changes. It is operated locally via a 4.3″ touch display or remotely via Modbus TCP/Ethernet. Optional extensions such as battery test, battery emulation and PV panel emulation make this model a universal testing tool for energy and electromobility research.
