The CINERGIA EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series combines maximum precision, efficiency and performance in modern regenerative power electronics. As a bidirectional electronic load for AC and DC applications, it is the perfect tool for research, development, test laboratories and industrial testing processes. Its feedback-capable hardware topology enables energy to be fed back into the grid, significantly reducing power consumption, waste heat and operating costs. With a harmonic grid input (THDi < 3 %) and a power factor of over 0.98, the series ensures the highest grid quality, stability and efficiency.

The EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series can be used universally and was designed to meet the requirements of modern energy systems, research facilities and industrial developments:

Model description: EL+ 120 vAC/DC

The EL+ 120 vAC/DC model offers a rated output of 108 kW and combines high dynamics with outstanding energy efficiency. It delivers up to 157 A (three-phase operation) in AC mode and ±130 A / ±390 A in DC mode. This makes it the ideal solution for testing and development tasks that require a high current carrying capacity and fast regulation. Like all models in the series, the EL+ 120 vAC/DC is fully bidirectional and regenerative, which means that the energy consumed during testing is efficiently fed back into the power grid. This enables sustainable, energy-efficient test processes - a decisive advantage in laboratories and production environments with high test volumes. Compared to smaller models such as the EL+ 80 or EL+ 100, the 120 kW version offers an increased power reserve for larger test systems, energy storage test benches and grid simulation platforms. With robust dimensions of 870 × 875 × 1320 mm and a weight of around 400 kg, it is designed for continuous industrial operation. Thanks to a response time of less than 1 ms and a control resolution of 10 mV/10 mA, the EL+ 120 guarantees precise, repeatable results even with rapid load changes. It can be operated via the integrated 4.3″ touch display or remotely via Modbus TCP/Ethernet. Optional functions such as battery test, battery emulation and PV panel emulation significantly expand the range of applications.
