The CINERGIA EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series defines the standard for regenerative, bidirectional electronic load systems in modern power electronics. It combines maximum precision, efficiency and reliability for AC and DC applications in research, development and industrial test environments. Thanks to its regenerative hardware architecture, the series feeds the absorbed energy back into the grid with high efficiency, thereby significantly reducing energy consumption, waste heat and operating costs. With a harmonic grid input (THDi < 3 %) and a power factor > 0.98, it offers maximum grid quality and system stability - even under demanding test conditions.

The EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series is designed for versatile and demanding applications where precision, dynamics and performance are crucial:

Model description: EL+ 200 vAC/DC

The EL+ 200 vAC/DC model is the most powerful model in the series and has been specially designed for high-performance applications where maximum energy, precision and stability are required. With a rated power of 180 kW, the device delivers currents of up to 260 A (three-phase operation) in AC mode and ±180 A / ±540 A in DC mode. This makes the EL+ 200 ideal for large-scale test systems, battery test benches, grid simulations and continuous power tests. Like all devices in the series, the EL+ 200 vAC/DC is fully bidirectional and regenerative. The energy absorbed during testing is efficiently fed back into the grid with an efficiency of up to 92% - a decisive advantage for energy-intensive test environments. Compared to smaller models such as the EL+ 120 or EL+ 160, the 200 kW version offers a significantly larger power reserve and is suitable for industrial high-performance test benches, energy storage systems and large inverter tests. With its robust dimensions of 850 × 900 × 2000 mm and a weight of around 700 kg, the EL+ 200 is designed for continuous operation and offers maximum reliability. The control resolution of 10 mV/10 mA and a response time of less than 1 ms ensure precise, reproducible results even with dynamic load changes. Operation is via the integrated 4.3″ touch display or via Modbus TCP/Ethernet. Optional battery test, battery emulation and PV panel emulation functions are available to realistically simulate even complex energy scenarios.
