The CINERGIA EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series is one of the most advanced platforms for regenerative electronic loads and combines precision, energy efficiency and versatility in one compact system. As a bi-directional AC/DC test set, it enables both pick-up and feed-in operation, making it ideal for demanding laboratory, development and industrial applications. The regenerative hardware feeds energy back into the mains during test operation, significantly reducing energy consumption and operating costs. With a harmonic grid input (THDi < 3 %) and a power factor above 0.98, it meets the highest requirements for grid quality and test stability.

The EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series offers a wide range of applications for test laboratories, research facilities and industrial development environments:

Model description: EL+ 50 vAC/DC

The EL+ 50 vAC/DC model offers a rated output of 50 kW and sets new standards in terms of performance and versatility. In AC mode, it delivers 73 A (three-phase operation) or 219 A (single phase), in DC mode ±50 A / ±150 A. This makes this model ideal for applications with high current requirements, dynamic test sequences and precise power control. Like all devices in the series, the EL+ 50 vAC/DC is fully bidirectional and regenerative - absorbed energy is fed directly back into the grid, ensuring sustainable and energy-efficient test operation. Compared to smaller models such as the EL+ 30 or EL+ 40, the 50 kW version offers an extended current carrying capacity and is therefore ideal for test benches in the fields of electromobility, battery development and industrial automation. The device impresses with its compact design (770 × 450 × 1100 mm) and a weight of around 200 kg. With a resolution of 10 mV/10 mA and a response time of less than 1 ms, the EL+ 50 guarantees maximum precision with fast load changes. It is operated via the integrated 4.3″ touch display or by remote control via Modbus TCP/Ethernet. Optional functions such as battery test, battery emulation and PV panel emulation significantly expand the range of applications and make the model a flexible all-in-one solution for research and industry.
