The CINERGIA EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series sets standards in modern power electronics and combines maximum precision, energy efficiency and flexibility in a single device. As a bidirectional, regenerative electronic load, it enables tests and simulations in both the AC and DC range - ideal for research, development and quality assurance in energy and electrical engineering. Thanks to its regenerative topology, the series significantly reduces energy consumption by efficiently feeding energy back into the grid during test operation. With a harmonic mains input (THDi < 3 %, power factor > 0.98), it ensures the highest mains quality with minimal distortion.

The EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series is designed for a wide range of professional applications in research, industry and development:

Model description: EL+ 20 vAC/DC

The EL+ 20 vAC/DC model offers a rated output of 20 kW, making it an ideal test device for demanding laboratory and industrial applications that require higher currents and voltages. In AC mode, it reaches 29 A (three-phase mode) or 87 A (single phase), while ±25 A / ±75 A are available in DC mode. The EL+ 20 vAC/DC is fully bidirectional and regenerative - energy absorbed during tests is fed back into the grid. This makes it not only energy-efficient, but also environmentally friendly and cost-saving. Compared to the smaller EL+ 10 and EL+ 15 models, it offers significantly enhanced performance while remaining compact in size (770 × 450 × 1100 mm) and weighing around 195 kg. With a resolution of 10 mV/10 mA and a response time of less than 1 ms, the EL+ 20 is ideal for dynamic testing tasks, rapid load changes and precise current or voltage regulation. It is controlled locally via the integrated 4.3" touch display or remotely via Modbus TCP/Ethernet. Optional battery test, battery emulation and PV panel emulation functions are available, making the device suitable for universal use in modern development and test laboratories.
