The CINERGIA EL+ vAC/DC ePlus series stands for state-of-the-art technology in regenerative power electronics and combines maximum precision, energy efficiency and flexibility. As a bidirectional and regenerative electronic load for AC and DC applications, it offers a reliable solution for research, development and test engineering in laboratories and industry. Thanks to its efficient regenerative technology, the series significantly reduces energy consumption during tests and enables sustainable, resource-saving measurement and testing applications. With a harmonic mains input (THDi < 3 %, power factor > 0.98), it meets the highest requirements for network quality and energy efficiency.

Model description: EL+ 10 vAC/DC

The EL+ 10 vAC/DC model offers an extended power capacity of 10 kW with a maximum AC current of 15 A (three-phase operation) or 45 A (single-phase operation). 45 A (single phase) and a DC current range of ±15 A / ±45 A. This makes it ideal for medium to demanding test applications in research and industry. Like all models in the series, the EL+ 10 vAC/DC is bidirectional and regenerative, so that energy from the device under test is efficiently fed back into the grid. With its compact dimensions of 770 × 450 × 1100 mm and a weight of around 155 kg, it can be flexibly integrated into laboratory setups. Compared to the smaller EL+ 7.5 vAC/DC model, the 10 kW version offers higher currents and therefore an extended test spectrum without compromising on precision or dynamics. The resolution of 10 mV/10 mA and response times of less than 1 ms guarantee exact results even with rapid load changes. The device is controlled locally via an intuitive 4.3" touch display or remotely via Modbus-TCP/Ethernet. In addition, the device supports optional HiL, battery and PV emulation modes, making it ideal for development and validation processes in power electronics.
